| Your Personality is Very Rare (INTJ) |
![]() Your personality type is logical, uncompromising, independent, and nonconformist. Only about 3% of all people have your personality, including 2% of all women and 4% of all men. You are Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Judging. |
| You Are Destined to Rule the World |
![]() You have the makings of a very evil dictator... Which is both kind of cool and kind of scary! Will you rule the world? Maybe. Maybe not. But at least you know that you could. |
| You Should Rule Mars |
![]() Mars is a planet that shines brightly and loops wildly around the solar system. You are perfect to rule Mars, because you are both energetic and independent. Like Mars, you seems attractive and bright to others - but you're difficult to pin down. You are a great thinker, but you only think in the present and ignore the future. Full of enthusiasm and inspiration, you are into your own thing... and rather insensitive to others. |
So, um sorry about that. But if any of you want to live under evil dicatorial rule on Mars? You're set for rent. I'm not kidding; you're golden (repressed, but golden.)
And, in conclusion, I would just like to say that my 'To Rec' list is ridiculously long, and I really need to find a little time to code those. Rats. Sometimes there just aren't enough hours in the day.

Date: 2007-07-17 04:43 pm (UTC)I've always wanted to go to Mars! If you rule Mars I'd happily live under your rule if I got to go-o!
(and maybe if you ruled the world you could put more hours in the day and get us more rec posts)
(don't mind me, I'm apparently randomly spammy and slightly manic right now)

Date: 2007-07-17 05:24 pm (UTC)Military officers? Really? Maybe that's the uncompromising thing. I never thought of myself as uncompromising, really (I'M JUST ALWAYS RIGHT, OMG) but maybe I should look into that?
You can have a penthouse, or any other quarters in my lavish World Dominating Mansion that you like, m'dear.
And you can hire my code monkey secretary to transfer all my links from del.i.cious to LJ. I saw a post about that, once, but apparently you have to update with EVERYTHING you have linked to (even unread stuff) and can't specify a tag like my 'RecMe' tag. Sucks.
(Spam away! I'm writing fellowship proposals and taking Frequent LJ Breaks)

Date: 2007-07-17 06:12 pm (UTC)Oh, definitely. I just always look at how females are even less likely to be INTJ than males and I always suspect most of the female INTJs are sciencey/engineery inclined but I think it does tend to fit well with scientist mind-training. I used to waver between I and E and sometimes (rarely) get a P instead of a J but it's always interesting reading detailed Meyers-Briggs analyses (and comparing with other people) and seeing just how right they are in some ways.
I don't know what it is with military officers, but yeah. I think maybe also the decisiveness (sortof) and the ability to look at a situation rationally as is - make decisions for the good of the group and the mission.
*snuggles into penthouse* *installs telescope in penthouse*
Ack! Crazy del.i.cious to LJ craziness!
(ick!)
Daniel raised his eyebrow at the men in his doorway. "Going somewhere?" he asked before looking back down at the translation in front of him.
Teal'c adjusted the straw hat low enough to cover his forehead. "Colonel Mitchell has informed me of an important element of Tau'ri culture I have not yet experienced."
"Really?" Daniel looked up, curious. "What is it?"
"County fairs" Mitchell announced. "He's been on this planet nine years and none of you have ever taken him to a fair. Pig racing, butter sculptures, fried pickles on a stick."
"Oh...how negligent of us. Have fun. Don't get into too much trouble."
"Sure you don't want to come, Jackson?"
"No, you have fun, I'm going to keep working."
"Colonel Mitchell says there will be a pie eating contest," Teal'c pointed out.
Daniel looked up. "Blueberry?"
"Probably," Mitchell said, leaning casually in the doorway. "Apple, strawberry, chocolate cream if you're lucky."
"Uh, right," Daniel stood up, still looking at the translation in his right hand even as he fumbled for his keys. "Just let me get my coat...did you ask Sam?"
"She's waiting for us."
Daniel nodded again, deciding the translation could wait another day. Jack was going to kill them when he learned they had all that pie without him.

Blueberry is Daniel's favorite? Whoda thunk? I go for chocolate cream myself. I bet Sam likes the blue pie too.
Mmmmmmmmmm, apple pie.
I'm hungry.

I dunno. You could argue, reading it, that it was the "chocolate cream" that won him over (maybe he assumed the contest was only blueberry and he wouldn't be interested). Personally, I think he'd like the mocha almond pie my ex used to make :)
I'm all about the chocolate cream too! (but Sam would be all about the Blue :) )
I'd offer you pie but we finished it and almost none of last week's 10 pounds of blueberries are left so we can't make another...

Date: 2007-07-17 05:09 pm (UTC)Hm. Looks like we're destined to compete for Evil Overlordship of Mars. I'd suggest a pact, but clearly we're so driven that neither of us could be trusted. *g*
I do think I have a leg up, being Bunsen Honeydew, oozing sex appeal (84%), and apparently living in an "Indie Flick". (Does that mean I'm Indiana Jones? Sweeeet.)
*grins* Though the "rule the world" test was kind of a gimme once I saw that I got to keep the giant robots. ROBOT LOVE!

Date: 2007-07-17 05:26 pm (UTC)...clearly, I need to take more quizzes. Fellowship grant be damned! Oh, wait, maybe I'll write another paragraph first.
(It was totally all about the robots. ROBOTS!)

I suspect your early morning announcements might proceed better if you actually announced YOUR name, instead of Megatron's. Just a thought.

Date: 2007-07-17 08:12 pm (UTC)Hmm. *makes note* I'll try that. Transformers has eaten my brain these past couple of week. It is ALL about the giant robot love for me right now. We will clearly have to get some for the Mars project.
A Gemini? Double trouble? Double fun? (Why no, I don't think these things are mutually exclusive.) But oatmeal? I have no way to reconcile that with Evil Overlordness, although I suspect that a comprehensive program of evil would require a nutritious diet, and fiber is important, kids. *g*
