Lovin', s'what I got.
Mar. 12th, 2007 10:04 amMorning. Everyone make the random time change okay in the US (our solution for the energy crisis yay!)?
Stories for your Monday:
From
destina, surprisingly, a little Jack/Daniel (and others, she has a list of warnings at the end if it's important to you.) Blink, weaving a complex story through Threads and Moebius, where the past echoes into the present and a choice changes things. Jack POV, adult.
starting_gate wrote a nice lighthearted Daniel POV about unbearable burdens on a relationship: Uniformly Speaking (or why Jack wears BDUs as a general.) Not worksafe, Jack/Daniel, S9.
synecdochic posted a plea in her LJ that Cameron was taking over and nesting in her kitchen and to send help. Then she posted this lovely, gentle gift, between Sam and Cameron. Nesting, PG, Sam/Cameron or Sam & Cameron, worksafe. She has a lovely backstory for them worked into her own fandon for stories about them, and she about has me a believer.

betacandy in the Five Favorite Stories meme, this is between S6 and 7, it's complex psychology from Sam and Jack, it's the team dealing with one of the worst mistakes they've made and it's lovely. Also I love Jacks read that Sam is not oblivious, she just doesn't need to verbally express things most of the time. Find Your Way, worksafe, Jack & Sam & Teal'c friendship.
There seems to be a great little trend here of authors who really haven't been writing much in SG-1 rediscovering the love here before the series finale. FOR THE WIN! I hear tell of mini-marathons, vid watching (highly recommend this one by
mamoru for the LOVE: Cartoon Heroes--I only have the imeem link on account of I lifted it from danvers Danvers is awesome and Mamoru's vids live here)... writing? Made of win. Win win win. [eta: also, I think it would be funny if someone vidded the cast/crew/characters to 'So Long and Thanks for All the Fish' 'kaythanksbye.]
I also have three other tabs open that I meant to read this weekend, but a friend flew in from out of town with very little warning and I was forced to be a groupie and follow her around all weekend. Woe! But I bought some *fabulous* shoes and much needed new jeans.
