Nice crossover femmeslash of a resignedly long-distance, established relationship sort. Sam/Elizabeth, and a seduction only another woman could have dreamt up. Love that it didn't solve everything, and the feeling that it's just a short moment, what they have; transient. The Secret Laws of Thermodynamics, by sakuracorr for the Seduction Challenge.

Gen? Craziness with the sims, and responsible for the AU in my head now (200 is also at fault) in which Teal'c just WANTS you to think he's wallpaper for his own Superhero/alter ego purposes. The Ongoing Saga, I'd give this a PG-13, possibly R rating since Daniel gets up to quite a lot of kissing, or talking about kissing. moonshayde's fault.

John/Ronon kink: janedavitt's Line of Command pre-slash with D/s tendencies. Nice.

Renae (=sly_bone) wrote a really interesting gen piece about the team, and the dynamics and the perception vs. reality. Great Cameron voice, and Vala is also endearing. History in the Making, PG-13.

Sid (sidlj) brings da surreal with early season Daniel's dreamscape. Your views may vary, but I'd call this gen or canon relationship het, but seriously surreal dreams from a guy in serious internal conflict cross lots of boundaries. Jack is a fantastic reassuring presence. Nightscape, rated R.

Loved Vala's use of Earth-ism's being slightly off, John calling her on it and the contrast between his inability to talk about himself and her completely straight-forward nature. wishfulaces gives agentotter a pretty Jack and Daniel friendship ficlet in ottercrossing. S8, great voices and complex psychology. Only those two, seriously. Old married love even when it's platonic.

I really, really think that the best way to deal with the cancellation is to write more fic! Whee! Or at least, that's how I hope people will deal with the cancellation. Certainly seems to be the case so far, there is lots of stuff popping up all over the place. Keeps my little newsletter tagging fingers busy, lemme tell you (in a good way).

It's so lovely here and now I've had a week and my parents are in town again, I feel pulled to the garden. Good job I'm reaquainting myself with my nightowl ways or I'd never read anything.

And Fourth Kingdom. Goodness. That was an exercise in minimal words to rec because I just don't know if I could read it again, and it's so powerful, without resorting to a single melodramatic device (no character death, no bashing, just huuuuuuuurt).
