Wow, Aeryn is acting really mind-wiped. Voice all melodic and zen and-- AND SHE HAS NO GUN. That’s just not right.

The Nebari seem to be really wounded or scarred up. How come the men have such dark eyebrows and eye makeup?

How does Pilot nullify the cleansing? And wow, but the collars are creepy, with the spikes, and the liquid, and PILOT IS DROOLING. And pissed. *hopes Pilot gets to go medieval on their tooshies.*

Flaaaaaaashback.

Oh. Spread the plagues through the lesser beings through refugees who don’t appreciate what you’re trying to do. Ow. Ow ow ow.

Omgwtfeyeballs. *boggles* That cured the ouchy sensations, certainly. D’Argo being all whimpery and shakey…

EYEBALLS. Dayum.

Contagion is timed? And wow, was that not an interesting reaction on the part of Chiana? Neery is alive, and fighting, and she’s so proud of him. No betrayal, no hurt that he let her think he was dead? I guess they both do what they need to do. That ‘can you imagine? Me? Working?’ bit was so sweet and brotherly. Nice chemistry with those two.

Scorpy! Is it bad that I’m feeling affectionate about Scorpy? Pilot is seriously looking at John as though he’s NUTS (which, you know, he probably really is.) I love him playing stoned surfer duuuuuude. I love the range that Pilot is getting this episode.

“I’m nobody’s PUPPET!” Riiiiiight, Rygel.

Did, did that guy just hand John a dildo?

Huh, so he’s a quasi good guy? With different mission priorities? ‘Kay.

Got caught up in the moment, there. Can I just say that seeing Chiana stand upright like that looks so painful for her? She’s little miss flexible and where bending over and pulling back through the torso would indicate pain in someone else, in her that’s normal, and standing up is the odd behavior.

I like that there wasn’t one particular thing that caused the guy to take a stand and risk his own mission, but just seeing the lengths to which the Moya crew will go and watching them fight the same fight in a different way. Nice bracket of choosing between the women there mirroring the esthetically cool scene between Vala Varla and Chiana earlier. Go Grey Girls!

You know, Pilot’s involvement in this is awesome. At the end there, when he was all proud of his ruse? Thought it went well? So cute.

And the crew seems to recover from the mind cleansing by being really grouchy, though that could just be Rygel’s effect on them.

Poor Chi, so close to getting back what she thought she’d lost. Wonder if they’ll follow up on this arc? That would rock, duuuuuude.

And, in conclusion, don't trust Aeryn when she smiles for no reason. Thank you. 'Twas a very cool Chiana ep, and Pilot was awesome. Hope they follow up on that arc. That is all.


Next up is Liars, Guns and Money and then the season finale, yay! Then I can start saying 'please don't spoil me for S3 or 4' rather than shuffling my feet about not finishing S2 yet.

You don't seem to be showing up in my flist - as a flailing lion is something that I would remember!;) Not to mention your use of the Spec Ops Penguins (who rock!)

I think I remember this episode clearly - stuff with eyeballs that made me go EEEEK very loudly. Also on the Farscape meta front - Television without pity have added this show to their rota. Though they're being a bit random in their choices. From 'The Way We Weren't' (emo Pilot!) to 'I, ET'...

I think it was me. I tried to make a fanfic archive post and date it forward and suddenly nobody was commenting on my posts... which I'm trying to convince myself has nothing to do with my personal self worth (kidding! Totally kidding.)

I love my penguins. I even put the *hand flaps* texty stuff in there all by myself.

I've also removed the forward dating on that fanfic archive post, so hopefully I'm visible now.

There's a way to move your post to the top of your journal and still have your entries viewable. Set the date of the post to a future date, and then check the option that says "entry is backdated". That should work.

I swear I did that. The problem actually seemed to be with my third party program to update the LJ. It wanted to backdate everything that was dated before the sticky post's date, and that rendered everything invisible to the flist.

*sigh*

I like my third party software too much to sacrifice it for a single sticky post, though.

I watched the first bit of Liars, Guns and Money last night and there was a GREAT moment between John and Aeryn when he says Scorpius did something to his brain and it's getting worse. So. Sweet. They're much better at talking about that than at talking about emotional stuff.
