So RL is busy, right? And I'm away from my computer for a few measly days and not only are there a number of kick-ass Sam discussions going on in the comments for last week's meta post, but y'all posted so much wonderfulness in your own journals that I was back 300 comments before I recognized anything. All this fic, all this coolness... hope I haven't missed anything, but I'll tell you if I find I have.

NC-17 and possibly squicky for the hygenically concerned where sexy and kitchens collide, but totally worth it. Yeah. Plus sexy in the outdoors. Mmmmmm. That's worth it too.

Row, Row, Row by denynothing1 (Cameron/Daniel/Vala) A perfect blend of Cameron the Fanboy just trying, Vala scheming to her own personal ends, Daniel being tossed about and off balance and it's funny and sexy and sexy... NC-17.

Water In One Hand by ana_grrl, apocafic of a very slow, smart, alliance screws the little people kind. Mal/Simon by the way. PG-13. Firefly.

Eptitude by thegrrl2002 and mmmchelle. Awkward sex. I mean, I think that is possibly the most wonderful thing ever and John and Rodney's goofiness and completely in character and bizarre conversation? Ending in the intuitive read of the other's responses that is canon by this point? GUH, people. Awkwardness is possibly one of the most interesting stories to show with sex. I mean, I think. It's a kink, I admit it. NC-17, John/Rodney, SGA, first time.

janedavitt wrote a very interesting voyeuristic, spanking, in the shadows slashfic, with a great reveal. Problem Solved. SG-1, kink, NC-17.

skooziepants wrote a sequel to Once Upon a Furry Octopus (hilarous SGA crack!fic) called And They Lived Happily Ever After, which is also hilarious SGA crack!fic and features some of the best matchmaking skillz to ever grace the Stargate 'verse. PG-13, John/Rodney, robots, kids, furry pets. Don't be drinking anything over your keyboard.

More from Thea: a pornish drabblishy thing for nestra and I, in which Vala is up to no good, in a marvelous way. The Daniel and Cameron kvetching is marvelous. Fun Vala/Cameron/Daniel ish Snippet. PG-13, or something.

A really deftly executed Sam/Daniel/Jack poly from princessofg. All are in character, the relationships between them are individual and important and the chain of events requires all of them, with their skills and personalities and respect and strengths and attractions. Nicely done and sexy tooooooo. How We Laugh the Day Away. NC-17.

Lastly (for the moment,) kellifer_fic's ucp_ficathon contribution is a QAF/Supernatural crossover that I thought was wonderful. Sam and Dean and Michael and Brian, where the scene of the crime is Mikey's comic shop and Brian is at a loss. Seriously, it was quite awesome how the characters interacted, though my familiarity with QAF ends in the first season and Supernatural I've only seen two eps, I still followed. Drawn. Gen, rated adult by kellifer for horror themes and language.

Also the porn battle, while not holding my attention the way the last one did, managed to inspire some folk to get to writing, notably dustandroses, who posted Atlantis John/Ronon D/s, NCIS shower sex, and a clone encounter between Jack and Daniel where their adult minds aren't keeping up with their new situation as well as their bodies seem to be. Heh. None are work-safe, obviously.

Now that's done I shall do some RL stuffs, some beta like stuffs, and some pondering of writing a DVD commentary on the teamficathon... after some other RL stuffs.

OH OH OH! ETA: I should be spanked for forgetting this one; greensilver, who tomorrow will be juggling posts for the jackdanielficathon, posted an EXTRA MARVELOUS Jack/Daniel love fest for Destina's birthday in destina_fic. It's gorgeous, it's thoughtful, it's sweet and it's amazing and I shall be noting this under 'fics to be read when in need of happiness'. Amabar, Amor, Amabor with Daniel being linguisty and Jack being wonderful. PGish. Look at how she used the numbers! Is that not awesome?

This one did get interrupted a few times. I use a user friendly third party software program called Xjournal for the mac, so a have little clicky buttons for coding if I want to use them, and spiffy shorthand button combinations, so it's not as hard as it looks.

I am aaaaaallllll about pointing to the shiny fanfic. Well, sometimes I create (hopefully) shiny fanfic, and recently I've dabbled in metaing about fandom, but this is pretty largely a fanfic reccing journal. You've come to the right place if you like those, m'dear. Or if you post a lot of really good stories and like to hear when I go on and on about how fabulous they are. Sometimes I trawl archives for stories too, fair warning.
