So most slashers (or SNITers) really prefer to do the Moebius handwave in front of Threads and claim it never happened. Jacob isn't dead, Sam isn't that annoying, there's no UST with Sir (enough already) and Kerry... never existed.

[aside: you know, I kinda liked her, to be honest. She looked at Sam with this expression on her face like 'hey, you're being really annoying, and this is totally unprofessional, what you're doing. Mind you own beeswax and skedaddle, because Jack is lucious.' And besides that, she acted with grace and professionalism, even though she was hard to watch because OTP!!! ... anyway]

So my point is, Daniel descended with more than the usual understanding of what happened when he was away, and Jack had dallied. Most of us ignore all of this, but Devra wrote a gorgeous, painful but ultimately 'things are going to be okay' fic in which Jack and Daniel deal with the blow to their relationship on both a romantic AND a friendship level. I mean, it was an impressive betrayal, and she *works it*. Spanning roughly the end of Redemption II/Threads to mid Season 9/Beachhead, it really bridges canon and brings fantastic fresh elements to the story that keep it moving and interesting. Adult.

Oooooh, the pressure! I hope you *like* it! I really like having all the links in one place, I have to say. d/l an LJ client to make coding them easier, but now it's almost as fast to just type the code myself. Pretty straight forward, though. I'll send a template if I even sort out my yahoo issues. May have to beg a gmail addy at some point.

Yes, those M7 boys. Just from the photos alone I can't say I got overly attached, but with a good story and some chemistry? I could be gone on them. There's potential.
