AND janedavitt's Crash Course Part 1! YAAAAAY! Early Jack/Daniel. When they were still figuring out how to work together, but already had that chemistry. And the hair, natch. Read for great frustration with each other, marvelous early characterization and amazing dialog.

And, because I haven't pointedly recc'd this before on LJ but have shouted to the rooftops how much I love in other venues, I rec now: Dinner With Janet by sideburns. J/D, Janet's POV, Late Season 7, pretty marvelously wonderful. And I LOVE Janet. Note the caps, so a fic set after Heroes that works with canon and still earns my LOVE (and detailed gushy f/b)? Uh huh. LOVE, people.

And, while we're on Janet, Rocketchick's Before Knowing Remembers is also wonderous. It's the rare femslash rec, but worth it, really worth it, for extraordinary use of canon, continuity, Cassandra, AUs.... bloody marvelously crafted story. You might also check out her Janet vid Where Do I Begin?, which is unspeakably well done with fantastic music.

You do know that vid is nominated in the Stargate Music Video Awards? Yep. Problem is, RocketChick has two other vids in the Janet category, and another in the Team category. But alas, Where Do I Begin and the one in Team are also both nominated for Editing. Hopefully those get straightened out because you aren't allowed to have a video in more than one category. They were supposed to have released the noms today but I see they still aren't up.

Reeeeeeealllly? How very interesting... Perhaps I shall halt progress on the shrine temporarily and focus on rocking the vote? LOL. I jest. I shall vote, however. I did love that vid. Song became one of my favorites, too.
