ETA2: I totally forgot to rec this yesterday, but it's LUCIOUS. Rodney/John, when they know they shouldn't actually *sleep* together after sleeping together... but do anyway. It's beautiful. And with the utter nonesense that is Don't Ask looming, it's also poignant. The First Hour by thegrrrl2002.

ETA3: Yay for anything from ducks_in_a_row! Gen, Shifu + the S8/9 hiatus. Oma goes off to fight Anubis, after all, so what happens to the others who need her? Oh, but the characterization is beautiful. Sometimes I think Gen is harder to read because you start wondering why the episodes can't be this good. Sins Of The Father

ETA4 (last one, I swear): A rather marvelous Teal'c & Sam friendship moment circa season 2. Excellent (and rare) Teal'c voice and POV, really good characterization of the whole team. Teal'c is underluvd. It's All About Technique by moonshayde.

I have only really dabbled in FF fics, but am finding some excellent ones on the ffslash comm. This one struck me as particularly marvelous because it worked with Inara, and I grudgingly appreciate Mal/Inara. I just like Mal/Simon better.
