well, that was a bit odd

So there was something up with my flist, nothing was updating after sometime around 4 pm yesterday, then all of a sudden (well, I had to reset the cache in my browser, if you want to know), y'all are back! Shiny. Wierd, but hey.

What I found when my friends came back to me:

lol. I *love* Sal's work. In a very fangrrly, I-bet-I-would-embarass sort of way, but I'm still sort of surprised that a fic with warnings like that would be birthday present! lol. Not that I'd turn it down, but my birthday is in July. *G*

LOL! Well, she gave me exactly the kind of present I wanted -- dark and angsty, with a side of pain and death. Whee! It seemed to make most of fandom cry, but it made me happy. In that weepy, sad way. *g*

Can't really blame you, it was a beautiful fic and I'm realizing that the dark is so effective ( dark and angsty, with a side of pain and death. Whee! *snicker* You so crazy.)

I've recently decided that I need to get over my fear (well, it takes more time to write than read, so you have to live it longer) of writing bad stuff in my fics. I've written some angst, some separation (there was that Season 6 fic, and the whole Teal'c one...) but never an argument, and there's one brewing in the fic I'm working on... Am steeling myself to not gloss over it 'cuz it hurts to write. *pets Daniel... heavily*

But I *think*, if I do this right, it will be a better story at the end when it gets all smutty. Yeah.
