Gratitude for a Tuesday

I have been recc'd THREE TIMES in recent memory, for my WRITING, and not for reccing. This is amazing. And it's not even counting the self-pimping I did in the girlgate comm (because the only femslash I've written is hidden in a poly fic)... But I digress, because I really am pleased as punch about this.

There was another, funnier meme that I saw at makesmewannadie's LJ, in which you look at the list of fandoms I know well, and think to yourself, 'self, how can she not know Due South/Torchwood/Andromeda/Angel/Buffy/some other fandom that I see on MMWD's list here???' and then ask me to describe it. I'll do it in the funniest way I can manage with the information I have, and then you can all laugh at my complete inability to focus on more than one or two fandoms at a time, or be in touch with American pop culture, scifi or otherwise.

I've seen very few episodes of the Simpsons, sue me. I do love the Daily Show, though.
