Somebody wrote something for me.

taselby wrote me a snippet! It was supposed to just be a drabble, so it's above and beyond. It's also perfect, because it's a lovely broken!Daniel moment and Jack is there, without awkwardness, without obligation... just someone coming through for you when you really didn't expect them to. Friendship (if you ignore the title), CotG, but if you are a tried and true slasher, you will recognize the pre-slash in this, which gives it a whole new slant. Jigsaw. Thank you.

And, this is a weird thought, but Arduinna pointed out that in Moebius, it was relayed by LeftBehind!Daniel that while Sam arduously opposed messing with the timeline, Jack and Teal'c pushed to start the revolution. When it went wrong, Jack and Teal'c WITH Sam were killed, and Daniel survived.

There has to be a fic in there somewhere. And I think it's Sam/Teal'c-y. Or maybe Sam/Daniel-y... but I think Sam/Teal'c, with Jack/Daniel obviously going on in their way (or OT4? That would be a first for me). Someone remind me of this once the RL writing marathon is overwith, or adopt the plot bunny, will you? Otherwise I'm shutting it up with the Mal/Simon fic that haunts my dreams, and who knows if either will ever be heard from again?
