ETA2: I totally forgot to rec this yesterday, but it's LUCIOUS. Rodney/John, when they know they shouldn't actually *sleep* together after sleeping together... but do anyway. It's beautiful. And with the utter nonesense that is Don't Ask looming, it's also poignant. The First Hour by thegrrrl2002.

ETA3: Yay for anything from ducks_in_a_row! Gen, Shifu + the S8/9 hiatus. Oma goes off to fight Anubis, after all, so what happens to the others who need her?
