Hi. Hi guys.

I thought I would just check in and report that:

*I survived the week!

*someone stole my debit card info. Card is blocked, maximum $350 damage, we hope.

*I finished my job apps (total of 7 schools)

*The next day (today), I was offered my first phone pre-interview. \o/

Sorry that the fail continues apace here on the internets. It's ironic to see new fail just as I'm prompted to write essays on how I can contribute to diversity etc. I hate feeling like I'm writing something to the effect of "some of my most brilliant students are Mexican or Mexican-American women!", though. I hope I've learned enough to not be an ass; I've learned enough to know that not making it worse is insufficient, at least.

Too late now to sort it out, though, I think. Have a good weekend, guys. We can be brilliant again in the morning. Now is time for sleep.

Jackass wasn't kicked per se, but they also didn't get their $350 in Avon cosmetics/digital camera online purchases. I win.
