Sometimes the success of news show satire reminds me of the exchange in Pride and Prejudice where one woman asks (flirtingly) how to punish Mr. Darcy for some audacious comment. Elizabeth replies, quite astutely, that the best way to punish Darcy (if you really mean it) is to mock and laugh at him.
