I LOVE THAT. Because not only was I reminded of the gorgeousness that is Every Art and Artifice (oh, Janet), but I was impressed with my own linking skillz, yo.

So. And because it's always fun to post something to cheer people: a recs post.


SG-1!

From nandamai, an OT4 that is made of heat and comfort. Ecstasis. Not worksafe. S7 post-Threads.

holdouttrout pushes on the ache of Continuum in a way that feels necessary even while it hurts. Echoes, Stargate SG-1, Sam/Jack, Continuum, not-worksafe. And Upper Hand, Ba'al/Qetesh, which can never be safe (let alone work-safe.)

While we're in Continuum, which absolutely should have all these aching, angsty kinds of separation stories, Cameron/Daniel from dirty_diana. Last Train for the Coast, not-worksafe.

vain_glorious wrote a beautiful S10 story of an SG-1 special kind of mission (one that goes sideways and takes a certain creativity to understand.) Throughout this one, though, Cameron and Daniel wallow in the mud. How can you go wrong? Watching Long in Hope and Fear. Cameron and Daniel and Sam friendship and teamship. Gen, worksafe.

I loved sg1_jubilee, by the way. And the carnivalofsquee is currently accepting prompts, I do believe.

So we might as well get back to Continuum then. The Year that Was (1/2) is Cameron/John Sheppard because, of course John would be on Earth. Not worksafe. From bluflamingo

paian. Jack/Daniel. And this has amazing, friendly, easy, straight-forward flirting right on top of the revelation of attraction and it just stunned me with it's fit. So Jack. Follow Through. Not-worksafe. She also wrote the unique and strangely domestic For the Man who has Everything. About porn. I mean...

I am just this far behind with my recs that I have holiday stories to tell you about. Better late than never, though. sage_theory wrote a Jack and Daniel (and Jack/Daniel) post-decension Christmas story. Oh, Jack, man. Ghost of Christmas Past. Not worksafe.

ivorygates wrote a stunning, surprising Cameron/Teal'c story. With Daniel, and amnesia, and fidelity and loyalty and it's just incredible. Too True to Say Goodbye to You. Not-worksafe.

Lastly, janedavitt wrote a short little thing that involves Jack on watch, and it's such an interesting faith he displays. First Watch. Worksafe, Jack/Daniel.

risbane's gloriously angsty McKay/Sheppard, in an SGA-apocafic that only has to separate the team from the city to be apocalyptic. And Glory Has No End; or, Clementine (1/3) Not worksafe.

And another one, where the separation is John from Atlantis. seperis's Something More (1/2). Not worksafe.

And, no angst. A sweet, sleepy comfort blanket of a story. chandri's Glad to the Brink of Fear. McKay/Sheppard, but worksafe.

SGA crossovers:

/Dr. Who. Displacement (The Longest Three-Week Day) by michelel72 is Rodney meeting Donna at a meeting (where an Earth scientist does something incredibly stupid, as usual, and Rodney has to save the day, but is surprised to find help, go!), and it works so well. Worksafe.

And, featuring the Ladies of Camelot, Merlin:

I seem to have a requirement in my heart that Morgana fanfic be a bit dark. She struggles, that girl. In Omne Tempus by giddygeek, is the finest Morgana/Gwen that I've read. Partly because it is relevant to who Morgana is in the castle, the roles she takes for herself. Worksafe, actually.

Crooked Heart is Morgana coming to terms with what she knows, and owning the fall, doing the wrong thing for the right reason, as she does. Merlin/Morgana is an interesting pairing, and I say that with the greatest of awe. From shantirosa, and pretty worksafe, I'd say. Maybe R rated, use your judgement.

Gwen and Arthur, in a strange kind of courting dance. Sometimes I Forget I'm Still Awake is worksafe, from paperclipbitch.

Lastly, the boys: Arthur and Merlin and Lancelot, accidentally creating legends. greensilver's Two for One. Worksafe.

Bookmarked a bunch of the SG ones but we don't get Merlin in the boonies here so I'll pass on those. As ever, many thanks for finding the good stuff for me. :o)
