lonelytartsclub is a ficathon for -- get this -- John/Vala. YES! Everything from gen to kink, welcoming of other ships as well and it just looks like I rollicking good time over there. They even have a Q&A page for those a little rusty on one show or the other, so anyone can participate, even if your only impression of one of the main pairing is 'oooh! pretty!'

Also, on the other end of the spectrum,

apocalypse_kree is taking prompts for a fairly informal SG-1 ficathon with gen, team, pairing and non-specific end of the world prompts up for grabs. I prompted with a mix of any pairing, specific pairing and gen prompts, mostly of the evocative quote variety. Image prompts, quote prompts, one word or many prompts, and song lyric prompts even, are all welcomed. Screened, but welcomed. Go prompt for a low-pressure contribution! End the world in your own particular idiom!

My remix fic is in editing. I suspect the word count will double in editing phase, and a number of big-picture beta thoughts are creating lots of possibilities in my head. Either I'll commit to one, or I'll end up writing them all and you'll end up with lots of little outtakes and DVD extras from me this year. I already have one, rather comic outtake, which I think I shall post Thursday to entertain sleepy!rydra.

paian wrote one of the most believable AMTDI fics I've seen, believable in the sense that they could come out of it on the other side closer, without ever compromising the complexity of the relationship.
