HI GUYS!

Okay, so I found a place I'd like to live. I haven't been able to confirm that they'll *let* me live there, as the brains of the operation still hasn't met me, even over the phone, but I'm psyched and the other roommates are psyched about me and I'm pleased in general that they are so mindful of relationships. If I'm going to share a kitchen with people, I'd really like to enjoy their company, is my feeling.

This house, pending final approval from L, will be known as the Townhouse of Joy. It's two blocks away from everything downtown in New City, and 10 miles bike ride from New University. Along The Beach. It's mind-boggling, really.

Emails will go out to involved persons, but it's looking like a move-in date of May 1, though I'm hoping there may be 24 hours flexibility on that. There's one roomie moving out and I'm moving in right on her heels, though, so no guarantees. *wants to talk to L sooner rather than later*

So there's that.

While I was gone, I actually posted a story! For the first time this year, turns out (well, the 3_ships story was posted in Jan, but that was only after the authors were revealed). Funny, eh? It's kind of a wierd thing to post so far after the internet made episodes available but so long before the US airs them. I have another tag for the finale that just needs a little editing, but I wonder if I shouldn't wait until the finale airs here?

Anyway, please to notice teh story! It was a birthday present for the wonderful raqs: Daniel woke up on Jack's side of the bed. There are cryptic references to Line in the Sand, which hasn't aired in the US yet. It's Jack/Daniel and R rated.

And that concludes the self-pimping, I'm off to see what you people had to say while I was away.

good luck in the home search, and please to note i looked at the story and realized i can't be reading it until i have more canon under my belt! so i have made a note to get back to it when i have the background to fully grok it.
