The two stories that put me over the edge into SPN were probably nilchance and beanside's Of Bastard Saints (an AU spinning off "Devil's Trap" in which Dean gets amnesia and runs off, leaving a gravely-injured John and Sam to chase after him: it puts the emo in emo-porn) and big_pink's Red (which is everything you've heard about it, and more besides: plot, characterization, theme, and setting like whoa--Dean and Sam among the loggers and tree-huggers in the PNW, hunting a monster who has a taste for Dean).

Socktacular Socktacular is absolutely hysterical.

And lookit all this SG-1 fic I can't read until I finish watching S10! Argh!
