Farscape, wot I've been neglecting.

3.03, 3.04: Self-Inflicted Wounds parts 1&2
Part 1, Could’a, Would’a, Should’a
Very interesting ‘if you want to talk’ from Aeryn to D’Argo. I mean, Very Interesting delivery.
I forgot how much I love Aeryn. Woman just rocks.
I also kinda forgot the state of Zhaan. So we’ve got to plant her, we’ve got a wormhole scientific point of interest off the starboard bow, and we’ve got…. A bunch of individual fighter pods coming through the wormhole?
And why is Pilot grunting all over the place. Seems very disoriented.
Oh, something about this region of space is giving Pilot a migraine. I sympathize, man.
HEY, so that’s Jool. Hiya Jool. Quit screaming.
John and Aeryn just have some great banter. This whole ‘let’s get there first’ ‘let’s get there *alive* … first’ and the one word exchanges before that? Chemistry gold.
This show really does a nice job of giving you tons of information and having the faith that you’ll figure it out eventually.
Hee! Harvey longs for the dumpster.
I’m beginning to suspect that the colorful alien creatures are sneaky and maybe devious. Rats. I think Aeryn maybe suspects too, in the way she responded to the death conversation.
I like that John is the one to stay with Pilot. And hey, look, the Stooges. Maybe John suspects that the colorful aliens are not what they claim?
Part 2. Wait for the Wheel
And, we have paranoia. I’m a little unclear on whether A, D and S are completely shutting J, C and R out of the loop or if they’re all working the same plan.
Aw, Starky, way to slap Jool down a bit. Yeah, that’s a good pair.
DRDs to the rescue? Cool.
And Scorpy/Harvey is breaking out. Love John’s nostalgia for his memories of Earth.
And Zhaan shows up Jool and seems to have an impact. Rygel being just tickled that Pilot likes him is very cute.
You know, I haven’t been all that into Zhaan/Stark. I buy them platonically, but not really romantically. Though Stark running about the corridor mumbling ‘where to go? Where to go?’ in his more than mildly crazy way is very moving.
Bye bye Zhaan. I’m not going to hug you because you’re all gooey, but it’s a good send-off. Oh lookit Aeryn losing it… How interesting that Zhaan ended up the only one on the ship with the better probability of survival and that everyone still views that as a loss of her.
Of course, Pilot stayed awake through all of that goodbye speech, even without Aeryn kicking him, but there you go. Hail Mary save.
*snicker* Rygel is coming onto Pilot.
John drinking at the drive in with Harvey is interesting. As is his anger, and Harvey’s distanced painful wisdom.
I think that’s all I can manage this evening. Had a thought to mainline two more eps, but I think I need to let Zhaan rest a bit first. Bye Bluey. *waves*
And ... what's this? Claudia Black is doing a solo commentary for Wait for the Wheel? I think that's my evening. I love this Aeryn icon, but now I think I need some S4 eps, with the battle pony and stuff.

But I really enjoyed seeing something, having no idea what it meant, but having some faith that it was too deliberate to go unexplained... eventually.
Apparently the actors really loved Kemper's technobabble scripts.

Date: 2006-11-15 07:21 pm (UTC)I'm glad you like the commentaries, it's good to hear. I feel like it's been a very long time between watching the first two episodes of this season and the next two, so it's nice to know the 'Scapers havent' given up on me.

Date: 2006-11-15 07:36 pm (UTC)and kemper....he's just amazing too. such trust in the audience's intelligence and belief that we'd just hang on for the ride and enjoy it all. which we did.
the whole issue of that reminds me of how our culture has learned (and also started out that way) to be spoon fed so many creative and intellectual things... essential human nature to not want to work that hard? just pondering. ;)

Date: 2006-11-25 05:40 am (UTC)I feel your Aeryn love. I wish more females in the genera were allowed to be this kick-ass. Even when dwelling on her love life, Aeryn kicks ass.
