Three recs for Wednesday

I am productive, I am doing RL stuff, I am moving at twice my normal speed and apparently require twice the entertainment (in short bursts, preferably). ENTERTAIN ME, LJ!

There are a couple lauded long fics bouncing around that I haven't the attention span to read at this time, but I'll get to them eventually, I presume. In the meantime, I give you these beauties:

From princessofg who is in Season 6: a tag for Abyss, and it's so sweet in it's recovery and joy. Not Alone, Jack, NC-17, S6. She's having a lot of fun discussing and meta-ing on the subject too.

raqs weighs into the Jack/Daniel Ficathon with a lovely moment in between the hurt and the comfort: Reverberations. Jack/Daniel, NC-17, no particular season.

also, malnpudl wrote for surrealphantast the marvelous OT3 Tapestry, in which my very favorite part may be the role that Teal'c plays. Daniel/Jack/Sam, NC-17, S7 or 8ish.

Wow, you are speedy.

RL is... s'okay. It's going forward in spurts, which is good enough. Criticism coming from a negligent advisor is sometimes a bitter pill, but it's what he's supposed to be doing, so I'm trying to be gracious (at least on the outside; my inner child is going on at length about what a stupidhead he is.)

Well, I've still got his attention, but it's only the span of a small child, and he's doing stupid tactless things like editing the wrong draft and then telling me to do the things I've already done in the new one, rewriting things I've already rewritten in the new draft and then not realizing that that had happened and forwarding his version over and over.

There's some praise coming down too, though. And the fact that he's not really changing much if he actually manages to read my version.

so, here's my idea...save all the emails and letters. create a time-line. then write a best selling book about the whole experiene. then it will be a best seller. living well is the best revenge. you know, i'm not completely kidding.

Oh, noes. One should not watch LGM tired. It' sbest to watch them all back to back. It's a momentum thing.

And yes, you should laugh at the fic. Laughing is good, and some of the lines are really silly/funny.
