crack!fic (sorta) of the whacked or headscratchingly wierd variety, but I sorta loved it: Microscopic bystellahobbit. Jack/Daniel and teamfic.
Not crack!fic:kres posted this little slip of a thing and it's haunting me: Stop, Just For a Minute.
Cascade bykylielee1000. Cameron/Daniel, with Daniel being all linguisty, and that's always a good thing. It has a great characterization of Daniel, and Cam as the outsider to the three with history is very well done, as is the slow build of insight and realization. Also props for using repetition to brilliant effect. I recommend this one, even if you aren't a Cam/Daniel fan at this point. In fact, this would be the fic I recommend you start with.
The Last Laugh byducks_in_a_row (Eos) is a zine fic that's been unlocked, and omg old school Jack and Daniel. And something Daniel would really value, and intelligent understanding (and lack of understanding) that Jack would really have. Plus, I ADORE the idea of Jack going to bat for Daniel behind the scenes.
Footnotes by Tallulah Rasa is grand fuckedup!team future fic. I think it's not het or slash but your glasses shades might tint things for you.
And the World Ended Again is a sweet Heroes tag for Daniel fromlaytoncolt. And that seems appropriate to rec with all the Ripple Effect fics going 'round.
Speaking of,moonshayde wrote a great one, for the desert fatigues team (that would be Daniel, Janet, Martouf and Cameron) The Gift. Though if someone wanted to explain the origin of the bracelet fandom thing? I'd love you forever.
And (die hard slashers, SKIP TO THE NEXT REC)nandamai wrote a funny little Sam/Jack tag to Ripple Effect as well called The O'Neill Paradox and YES, she's that good that I'll read despite not feeling the pairing. And I do like her characterizations of both Sam and Jack here, and not just because they're sniping at each other. I'll read pairings that I have trouble believing for surrealphantast too, really. Does kinda bust up the disclaimers on my rec lists, though, I'll have you know. I'm brave, however, and occasionally adventurous. Onward!
While we're on tags for recent eps,janedavitt wrote an impressive twist on Grace Under Pressure. I didn't see that coming, honestly. Absolution. John/Rodney.
Great John/Rodney fic fromamific: Leavenworth. Includes the bonus nuance of an alien justice system going awry, but them being really pretty respectable about it and trying their durndest to be noble and fix stuff and make amends and *hand flapping* stuff. Plus, John and Rodney are hawt. And I like the idea of them getting addicted to one another.
More John/Rodney + alternate dementions where things went according to plan: They're Advertizing in the Skies for People Like Us bythroughadoor. The character differences will make your heart ache.
Also John/Rodney: Vapor byeretria with a nifty little twisty bit. And a steam hut.
