Where's the smut?

Where have all the p0rn writers go-o-ONE???? Oooooh!

Um, actually, it may be my fault for getting quite into RL lately and not watching or searching as hard for the smut... or (even more disturbing) it's possible that it's all out there and I haven't been appreciating it! *gasp!* Although I think it really might just be missing. I tried to write some p0rn for cofax7 yesterday and it stayed disturbingly not-smutty, although it was Jack and Daniel Old Married Love, and comforting in its way (self pimping! It's here.)

I know, the ridiculousness is at an unnatural level today. You should hear what I've said to RL people today. *rolls eyes* I'm trying to reign it in.

Until then, though. I give you: the fics I have found! Woo!

Boundaries by naughtyelf at the_pretty_fits, which should tell you that it's Mal/Simon Firefly. It's also not particularly graphic, but it's a nice first time for several reasons, and the one I shall mention is that the rest of that lovely crew doesn't just disappear, that they all still care about each other and are protective and quirky even after Mal and Simon notice each other. It's good, it's short, it's post 'Out of Gas' and picks up during the last few moments of that ep.

And, while we're at it, this hysterical summary of the Firefly 'verse, in the crack_van comm written by sparky77, who tries really, really hard to keep it from going slashy... and almost succeeds. Doesn't really give away too much of the plot of individual episodes, so it's really not too spoilery.

Sometimes I'm not exactly reccing the brand new stuff, but dang it, it's new to me. I knew that dustandroses is writing for Jack and Daniel in the smut69 whatsit and I heartily approve, but I don't check in as often as I obviously ought to do. There are assorted drabbles and such, but may I highly recommend the fics under massage(Peg B 'verse) and voyeur (aliens made them do it)? You know, so far. I think those were written independently for something else, but they're here now in this lovely table of Jack/Daniel smut! HooRAY!

And, with the *guh*:Lt. Col. Cameron Mitchell Is The Biggest Fanboy In The UNIVERSE and Dogtags, Grannies and Alien Priest(esses) by frostfire_17 whom I will definitely be monitoring for more satisfying smut like this. It's Cameron and his right hand, but... you know, it does the job. It really does. And thank YOU, rydra_wong, because pointing me there was a GIFT, omg. *fans self*

Here's the issue: Yahoo is apparently trying to upgrade or something and I can't email OUT, although I may be able to wiggle around a bit and manage to reply to a message I already have *ponders*. I'm just now getting to my friends list for the past three or four days, so I'm just now seeing this post. Thanks for the recs. And for the other recs... I'm working on the next J/D for the smut_69 right now...it'll be the next part of The Games Men Play (http://www.livejournal.com/users/dustys_fic/2368.html), also. (Killing two prompts with one stone?) In any event, there'll be new fic on the Big Smutty Table soon - promise!

And as for the other fic! Great recs. I was really happy to find the two Mitchell fic, and I laughed so hard at Don't Tell, my sides hurt. Funny stuff. I love your recs - keep up the good work! Now I'm going to check out Boundaries...I'm more a Mal/Jayne fan myself (see icon), but since that's hard to find, I'll always take a good rec for Mal/Simon.
