3. Your favorite quotation

( from Welcome To the Night Vale (sorta) )
I'm not really feeling quotations today. Have some SG-1 recs, which today shall be Teal'c friendship recs.
Dira Sudis will own your heart forever with this story: With the Dying, a Moebius fic of glorious sadness, and Teal'c and Daniel friendship. And glory. And sadness.
My story: Without Fear of Wind or Vertigo Teal'c and Vala friendship, set during S10's Unending, and about enduring and unexpected allies.
And a story from
paian, which is not explicit friendship with anyone, but when she writes Teal'c, something really sublime happens: An I for an I is to the prompt of Identity, and really, really amazing. Teal'c. And Identity. By Paian. Worksafe.
And here's a good one about Sam and Teal'c:
surrealphantast wrote Godless, a lovely strange ritual of friendship between Sam and Teal'c: the ritual of Sunday mornings and the cult of bacon, and lovely. SG-1, gen, PG.
Actually, you know what would be interesting? If you took an amazing story from a fandom that has no new canon (maybe your favorite Farscape story, maybe early series SG-1, I dunno) and used that as inspiration for a current fandom you love. Wouldn't that be an interesting remix? Using the sense of atmosphere, or way the world ended, or central gag in the crack!fic, and letting another set of characters in another time play it out?
