I've moved!

I have: a bed, a chair, a sofa, a plan, Panama.

I lack have acheived: gas heating (including associated hot water), a connected stove or a refrigerator. Room to turn around in all the boxes (unless I'm in my bed, which is functioning within normal operating parameters.)

I expect have also managed: the refrigerator yesterday (new, yay! delivery guys standing outside the wrong building, then leaving, boo!) or possibly tomorrow, and the gas will be turned on at some unspecified time between the hours of 8AM and noon. These guys clearly failed organization and planning in high school, but as long as I get my place in brilliant working order, I'm fine with it.

Note to self: remind them to replace the leaky faucet, buy a lock for the storage unit. Also unpack approximately a bazillionty boxes. Set up mail forwarding, get internet in house (look into the rumor that there's a scam going on getting a basic landline just to enable internet.)

Revelation as a result of moving: I think it's time to sell those collectable dolls people gave me throughout my childhood. There must be someone out there who will appreciate and display them. (eta: eBay ID created, and research begun. Also I know a girl who's sold a lot of stuff on eBay before and will help me.)

Improvements already made: the mirrored doors on the closet are down, the icky blinds that will never be clean from behind the refrigerator have been removed to the storage unit. ETA: measurements taken for further organization and creation of storage where there currently is very little.

Value of creating mucho organization in a small and quirky kitchen: priceless.
