I have no idea if it'll work with an iPad or not. My guess is not since it requires a usb dongle, but I did find a solar keyboard for my laptop. It works like a solar calculator in terms of how much light it needs to charge, and I have been very happy with it. Perhaps one is available that is compatible with the iPad?
