I've actually found quite a lot of good stuff in the last couple of months, it just seems to be a bit challenging the way the archives for this fandom are organized. Though I do have to admit that, for a fandom as old as this is, there really doesn't appear to be nearly as much as I would have expected. I suppose that's at least in part attributable to the fact that Daniel, Daniel/Jack and Sam/Jack seem to have sucked up so much of the creative juices of the fandom and while I love all the characters I don't really have much interest in 'ship fics or Daniel-centric fics. Of course, that's due in large part to the characterization I've run across in most of the few 'ship and Daniel-centric fics I've read. Plus, I just really don't have much time for any fic beyond drabble length that doesn't at least acknowledge the team and the importance of each member thereof - though watch how quickly I'd probably become a hypocrite were I to find a good, long, Teal'c-centric fic that pretty much blew everyone else off. ;)
Of course, since there's not really much threat of that I'm probably safe from that particular brand of hypocrisy. :)
*sigh* I'm a nit-picky soul.
Thank you muchly for all the effort of cataloging so many lovely recs, btw. I've read my way through some of the shorter recs in your gen list as well and will apply myself to some of the rest tomorrow. :)
