At least it's a dilemma of too many good fic to choose from in my case; I don't know if you'll have the same problem or not.
I suspect it's a problem in a lot of cases. Though with the remix, I'm not sure if it's the quality of the fic that matters so much as a fic that has something that bites you as having a different possible path (I know last year when I read through my author's stories I had one jump out and scream "REMIX ME!")
