*terror*

That sound of panic you most certainly did not hear this weekend was a near disaster with my computer. Thankfully, the problem was solved with a $40 part, and not a $500 logic board (or worse--a new computer).

Not, obviously, that I wouldn't love a new computer, if it was offered to me in a lottery-type windfall.

I feel it's important to point out to the universe, though, that I would greatly prefer not to have to handle any more major changes for the next, oh, six months. I have enough to be going on with for the moment, I feel, with applying for jobs and likely an out of state move at minimum.

This is the part where I attempt to return to a normal breathing pattern.

Wonderful that you were able to salvage and have it fixed. :::massive hugs:::

Ah, technology. Keep breathing!

I know I've not been keeping up with my flist lately, but didn't you just move? Surely you've paid your dues to the Gods of Change already. The universe definitely owes you a nice, placid, unchanging couple of months.

And yay for cheaply-fixed computer!

I'm glad your computer is going to be okay, and please start breathing again. We all kind of like have you around!
