Someone needs to write this as, like, a B-story to some classic team adventure or something. Or, okay, it doesn't have to be a team adventure, it could be a sexy hook up on an alien planet or whatever, but IT'S MADE FOR STARGATE.

But now I'm thinking of a sort of crack!fic where SG-1 gets fed up with being portrayed so poorly on Wormhole X-Treme that they set fire to the studios which accidentally gets out of control causing blackouts. I imagine in this scenario it would be the northwest that is effected. :-)
Maybe your idea would be better.
