I have been thinking of this fic since I saw Talion too, and... I am not sure they directly contradict each other. I wrote a little comment fic for troyswann in the comments above, and that would need a little revision. I don't think, besides telling us how she died and showing how it affected Teal'c many years later, I don't think they said much that was really more specific about her than they already had. We see her son, we see Bra'tak, who knew her, possibly, and we see what they both became, perhaps independantly, perhaps as a result of the same influence. We see that Teal'c and possibly Bra'tak continue to feel her loss many years later, but why else would they never have spoken her name? Of course they felt her loss, you know? And if she died violently, of course that would trigger the Jaffa revenge thing, but I like the idea too that the squalor of the outcast camp killing her could be something Teal'c would blame on Apophis, and let that color his rebellion too. I don't know. It was interesting to see how dark Teal'c could still get, though, and how matter of fact about it.

But oh goodness, if you mean writing in general, yes, Talion is running all over a longer piece that I hope to have ready by the time the episode airs in the US.

Sorry for the spammy response, but you asked a question I've been thinking about for a while. *sheepish grin*
