I absolutely loved this. Existential is exactly the right description for the fic, too. *g* You hit their relationship - shippy or not - dead on. Far too many authors feel a need to overexplain or have the characters talk in unnatural amounts and ways (huge fic peeve of mine), but here, they say only and just what needs to be said - which, IMHO, is how it should be after nine years of friendship in their situation. It was a powerful and moving piece.

Ironically, I'm trying to find more of an audience for my stuff on LJ, but I know of a few other places that would love this:

Scientific Minds, if you don't know, is an archive for quality S/D fic.
Stargate Translations is more of an all-purpose S/D archive.
And there's also a Yahoo!Group, SD Rebellion, which...well, there's a bundle of issues I have there, but I know they'd love this fic.
