Oh, cool, it was surreal... I wanted to play with how confusing it is to be out of it, whether recovering or dying and not know which way is up. That all you do know is the people around you is marvelous. I'm glad the fic was warm and safe. In earlier versions it was a little too... not clearly safe. *g*
