Fic fic ficficfic....

from [livejournal.com profile] paian, in a series of Lost City inspired fics that she did, possibly having a running theme of beautiful Jack and Daniel doing wonderful things together and surprising the heck out of each other on a regular basis. Filling in the Blanks. Season 7.

Also, [livejournal.com profile] agentotter is trying her hand at Sam, and, interestingly, pairing her up with Rodney, though I understand John will make an appearance at some point, and the title of the 'breaking the writers block' series is 'Five Ways Sam and Rodney Never Made Out', Part 1. This is Season 7 SG-1-ish.

And, [livejournal.com profile] janedavitt wrote a ficlet titled Stop Me If You've Heard This One. It's a beautiful acknowledgement that attraction isn't enough sometimes and that it definitely isn't safe. Jack/Daniel at their angsty, owey, dark and pretty best, Season 4ish, no major spoilers. ETA: aaaiiiIII! And a Teal'c/Cameron drabble! Show, Not Tell. Go Jane! Love that muse! That one is season 9, obviously.

Finally, any Teal'c fans, and Teal'c/Cameron fans in particular, should already be watching [livejournal.com profile] ana_grrl, because on entering the fandom she apparently was beseiged by T/C plot bunnies, and, you know, I'm not complaining. This is an AU where the Goa'uld took over Earth when Mitchell was on leave, and he comes to meet Teal'c while leading the resistance. It's well done, great characterization, realistic angst of getting involved with an alien and a jaffa, and the chemistry is written compellingly. NC-17 (yay!) Men of Action.

Also from [livejournal.com profile] ana_grrl in the Firefly 'verse is Spectacle a Mal/Simon pre-slash piece chock full of banter and UST and pushing and testing. Nice character voice, very believable frustration and arguing with each other. Somewhere between the series and the BDM.

ETA: Also? [livejournal.com profile] tafkarfanfic wrote a handpuppet's guide to Serenity, that is, omglmao funny: Emergency Naptime Procedures Implemented.

And, I must pimp my friend Mabi ([livejournal.com profile] or_mabinogi), who is making season vids for SG-1 moments. They were originally inspired, I believe, by [livejournal.com profile] bastmoon's really amazing Bolero, though she's stalled out in season 3 and he kept going. He just finished the Season 7 vid, to Janes Addiction's Three Days. Post linking to it is here. I love having brilliant pals.

ETA again: Wordgeek has posted the latest of The Mind Doesn't Decide series at Pepe's Place and it contains this line "Daniel figured this was probably Teal'c-speak for 'Indeed, yo,' if Daniel were reading him correctly." Which almost made me laugh waaaaay too loudly. Too Soon Lost.

You're lucky I don't collect strikes, or remember my mental notes. Of course, with all the love you spread, how could I?

"Papercut" doesn't have any clips at all of Jack. It's a Daniel/Teal'c friendship vid. The Jack vids are "Jonny on the Spot" and "Dragostea".

*grins at the pimpage nonetheless*

details, details. *grins like a mad thing*

It was a while ago, and I'm a week away from finishing school. It was Papercut that was my fav, though, I just didn't remember why.

Sadly, cannot edit comments. Alas!

*smacks brain around a bit* WORK, durnit!

I'm indiscriminant but free with the luv, my friend. As long as it's directed at you, right?

One. More. Week. Argh!

It's no problem, really. I just wanted to clarify for those who may peruse with no background. I'd hate for them to download Papercut thinking it's a Jack vid and find out there is no Jack. It might lead to unsettling circumstances. Just know, I love you anyway. *g* Best of luck with schooling and all. I'm always learning stuff, so it's never really over imho. ;-)
