Aside from the luck you've come across recently, it's got to be frustrating. I don't know what's worse: being a Daniel fan and having loads of badfic to wade through or being a Teal'c fan and looking for stuff that actually treat him well.
That's tough.
Not to mention that on stargateficrec he's hardly ever recced. I did it for November since I felt so bad. There's got to be more out there!
I think that is why I crave team fics. Even if it's not fully even (1/4 Jack, 1/4, Sam...etc), at least they usually have something for everyone. And, I like a good balance since each character brings something different to the table. But I find they're just as hard to find, too.
